Star Wars: The Old Republic (TOR, also known as SWTOR) is an upcoming massively multiplayer online role-playing game based in the Star Wars universe for Microsoft Windows.

Explore an age thousands of years before the rise of Darth Vader when war between the Old Republic and the Sith Empire divides the galaxy.

Choose to be a Jedi, a Sith, or from a variety of other classic Star Wars roles, and make decisions which define your personal story and determine your path down the light or dark side of the Force. Batman: Arkham Asylum 2

Batman: Arkham City is the title for the sequel to the famed action-adventure, stealth video game Batman: Arkham Asylum, based on DC Comics’ Batman for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows. It is going to be released in the third quarter of 2011.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II will be released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows, Wii, PlayStation Portable, Nintendo DS, iOS on October 26, 2010. It is the sequel to the fastest-selling Star Wars game of all time. The game takes place after the events of the first game. For $20 more than the standard price you can get the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II Collector’s Edition.

Portal 2 slated for a 2011 release

Valve, the creators of some of the best-selling game franchises out there including Left 4 Dead, Counter-Strike, and Half-Life; and software such as Steam and the Source game engine, has announced Portal 2 which is slated for release in 2011 (not fall of 2010 as previously announced) for the Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, and Xbox 360 platforms.

Portal 2 is the sequel to Portal (released in 2007), which has won over 70 industry achievement awards and over 30 Game of the Year awards.

Email statement from Valve:
June 9, 2010 — Aperture Science, doing business as Aperture Laboratories LLC, in partnership with Valve today announced the successful completion of an ethics-review-panel-supervised release date restructuring process. Portal 2, the sequel to the ground-breaking title that earned over 30 Game of the Year awards despite missing its original ship date, is now targeted for a 2011 release.

They also went on to mention that, “… the game will be even better.
